Step By Step Dahi Papdi Chaat Recipe | Snack Recipe
Ingredients For Papdi:
2 cups All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
1/4 cup Rice Flour
1 tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
1 tsp Salt
3 tbsp Oil
1 1/2 cups Water (approx.)
Oil for deep frying
Ingredients For Dahi Papdi Chaat:
10 - 15 Papdis
3 - 5 tsp Mint Chutney
2 - 3 tsp Sweet Chutney
4 tbsp Onion
1 small Potato
Salt to taste
Chilli powder to taste
Chaat masala to taste
1/2 cup Yogurt
Sev
Pomegranate
Making Papdi:
In a broad bowl mix the all-purpose flour, rice flour, carom seeds and salt.
Heat the 3 tbsp of oil and pour that into the flour mixture.
Mix the oil and flour with a spoon.
Then add water and knead to a firm dough, keep the dough covered for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes again knead the dough. (Very gentle knead).
Divide the dough into four equal part and roll each dough ball using little flour. (Like a Phulka | Pulka).
Prick the Phulka both sides with a fork, so that they don't puff while frying and become crisp.
Then cut into any shape and fry them until golden and crisp.
Making Dahi Papdi Chaat:
Boil the potato, peel and chop, arrange the 10 to 15 papdis on a serving plate.
Top up with the green chutney and sweet chutney.
Then top up with some onion and potato.
Sprinkle some salt, chilli powder, chaat masala, add the yoghurt as required.
Again top up with some green and sweet chutney.
Sprinkle sev and pomegranate and serve dahi papdi chaat immediately.
Note: Use all the topping accordingly.
